Each family is allotted 150 sq. yd. of land, which produces enough yield to cover 60-70% of the weekly vegetable and salad requirement of a family of 4-5 adults. Your farm grows seasonal vegetables according to nature’s timing, so non-seasonal produce will need to be purchased from the regular market.
There is no cap on the number of items you can choose for your farm. In fact, we encourage customers to choose all available items, which helps create a better seasonal mix and variety throughout the season.
The number of items depends on the season. At the peak of each season, you can expect 20-25 items. When nature grows fewer items at another time of the season, the number may range from 10-15.
The subscription plan is for 6 months. The summer season runs from April to October, and the winter season runs from November to March.
We send invites to families on our waitlist 2-3 months before the start of each season.
Farming is at the mercy of nature, and owning a farm comes with vulnerabilities. If vegetables are lost due to natural calamities or pest attacks beyond human control, the loss is borne by the customer. Total loss is rare because the variety growing on your farm diversifies the risk. As your farming partner, we will always try to compensate such loss with complimentary items.
The short answer is no. We expect families to honour their commitment for the full season, as every farm is customised for each family. In genuine and unavoidable cases, you may give up your farm with a cancellation fee.
